Event Details
Hosted by BCHS in Partnership with the Central Bradford County Chamber of Commerce
The Bradford County Historical Society in partnership with the Central Bradford County Chamber of Commerce will host a Holiday Festival of Trees featuring beautifully decorated Christmas trees donated by local businesses, clubs, and organizations. The event culminates in a gala to be held on December 8, 2023, from 6 to 9 pm featuring the trees, food and drinks, music, museum tours, and more! A total of 14 groups have each adopted a seven foot tree and have decorated them with a unique theme. All the trees will be on display in the Historical Society Great Room and museum where visitors will be able to see them and enjoy some free holiday goodies during special hours.
Viewing hours are planned for November 18, 2-5 pm; November 19, 1-4 pm; November 25, 2-5 pm; November 26, 1-4 pm; and also December 2, 10 am - 4 pm, during our annual book sale at BCHS, and the Hometown Christmas event being held in Towanda.
From now until December 8, anyone may bid on the trees online at https://www.32auctions.com/bradfordhistory. The online auction will end at 8:30 pm on December 8 during the gala, when the winners will be announced. Other auction details can be found on the auction page by clicking on the button below.
Tickets to the gala can be purchased online at https://bradfordhistory.org/festival-of-trees. Physical tickets will not be provided. Your admission will be registered under your order name which you will use to check in at the door. This event is a fundraiser for BCHS.
