Tom retired after many years in the Probation Department for Bradford County as well as teaching Criminal Justice at Pennsylvania State University (Wilkes-Barre campus). He had years of experience with the jail on Pine Street through his career and had served on the Executive Planning Committee for the new Bradford County Correctional Facility. This has put him in the unique position of being able to interpret the history of the jail building based on personal experience.
